With the holiday season upon us, we would like to wish you good tidings and cheer! 2020 has been a year we will not soon forget, but in all things, we are moving forward with positivity & a fresh outlook for the new year. In the meantime let’s talk about fun, fabric & more!
Start with Fun
How about throwing an ugly sweater party? We all have one, maybe you can borrow one, or find one at your local goodwill. Whether you have a socially distanced gathering or are doing it virtually, either way, get together and have some fun. To find out more about how to host an ugly sweater party check out this article for some party inspiration “15 Ugly Sweater Party Idea” from the Paperless Post blog.
Love Some Kaffe
Color, amazing design and inspiration are what you can expect from Kaffe Fassett fabrics. With 50 years of experience in his craft and 30 how-to publications, Kaffe is not just another artist. He has made his own mark and definitely forged a fantastic path in the fabric industry. See our Kaffe fabrics.
It’s Been Bananas!
As of today, Pineapple Fabrics has donated 95 quilts! It’s been bananas! Because of the Pineapple Pieces Project and everyone’s contributions we’ve been able to donate 95 quilts, to Brenner Children’s Hospital, a local family crisis center, a local fire department, and the Mommy program at the YWCA. We continue to accept Pineapple blocks, tops, and quilts. If you would like to get involved you can go here for more information on the Pineapple Pieces Project.
Wrap It With Fabric
If you are reading this blog there is a pretty good chance you have some scrap fabric lying around, or stacked really pretty and on display. What a better way to use some of that scrappy stash goodness than to use it for wrapping gifts. Get some fun ideas from Better Homes and Garden article Ditch the Paper: Learn How to Wrap a Gift with Fabric. Recycle & reuse!
Thank you for visiting our blog today. May the spirit of the season stay with you throughout the new year.
From our Pineapple Fabrics Family to yours, make, create, and keep on sewing!
