Q: WHAT IS A PINEAPPLE PACK®?
A: Our unique Pineapple Pack® is a package of precut fabrics featuring 5 to 10 fabric designs and come with a choice of free pattern with purchase. The Pineapple Pack® family of Alice, Bella, Carla, Diana, Ellie, Fran and Grace each feature different combinations of precut fabric sizes. Our goal is to build focused fabric collections and provide all the fabric you need to make our original patterns. Pineapple Pack® precuts are like a kit, but you get to choose the fabric and the pattern! Since our Pineapple Pack® precuts contain traditional sizes, they can be used for your own unique patterns or projects.
Q: WHAT IS A BONUS QUARTER®?

Q: SHOULD I WASH PRECUT FABRICS BEFORE SEWING MY PATTERN?
A: No, we do not recommend prewashing any precut fabrics because they could shred in wash/dry process. Steam thoroughly with the iron to preshrink before any secondary cutting.
Q: HOW SHOULD I WASH FABRIC YARDAGE?
A: If you purchased fabric by the yard, we recommend: Machine wash cold, normal cycle with like colors; Do not bleach; Line dry or tumble dry low; Warm iron.
Q: WHERE DOES YOUR FABRIC COME FROM?
A: We purchase fabric from various manufacturers who have fabric produced all over the world. We use 100% cotton “quilt shop only” fabrics to build our fabric groups.
Q: WHY DO THE SAME PRECUT SIZES VARY SLIGHTLY FROM PACK TO PACK?
A: The width of goods varies from one lot of cotton fabric to the next, so there will always be minor differences, especially in strips and Bonus Quarters. We measure our cuts from the inside of the pinked edge (see diagram below). If you find a short or badly cut piece of fabric in your Pineapple Pack, please contact us.
Q: DO YOU SELL FABRICS SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN’S SLEEPWEAR?
A: No, the fabric we sell has not been tested to meet flame retardant standards for children’s sleepwear. Most quilting fabric has not been tested for that standard.
Q: DO YOU HAVE A STOREFRONT WITH REGULAR HOURS?

Q: I BOUGHT SOMETHING FROM PINEAPPLE FABRICS AT A SEWING EXPO BUT CAN’T FIND THE SAME THING ON YOUR WEBSITE?
A: Yes, some packs are in very limited quantities and only sold at trade shows. Please contact us by e-mail here or call 1-336-880-0245 and we can see if any remain in our warehouse.
Q: WHERE DO YOUR PATTERNS COME FROM?
A: We design original patterns to coordinate with our Pineapple Pack precuts.
Q: CAN I BUY A PATTERN WITHOUT THE FABRIC?
A: Yes, patterns are available as digital downloads for individual purchase.
Q: HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR SHIPPING?
A: When shipping to the United States, we charge $5.99 flat rate for orders under $75 and shipping is free on orders over $75.
Q: DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES?
A: If you are living outside the United States and would like to place an order please contact us by email and include your address along with a general idea of what you are looking to order and we can pull a shipping quote for you.

A: From time to time we do travel for tradeshows. See our event schedule here.
Q: CAN I RETURN MY PURCHASE?
A: Our products may be returned for a store credit within 30 days of original purchase, provided they are unopened and in “like-new” condition. Any shipping on returns will be at the expense of the buyer. The returned goods must include a copy of the receipt, your e-mail address, shipping address and phone number. Payment will be refunded after the returned package is received at Pineapple Fabrics.
Q: WHAT DOES THE STATUS ON MY ORDER MEAN?
- On-Hold – If your order status is On-Hold this means your order is in our system but we are waiting until your order is picked/packed to charge your credit card or process your PayPal payment.
- Processing – Your order is in the process of being fulfilled and your credit card or PayPal account has been charged.
- Shipped – Your order has been packaged for shipping and is either awaiting pickup or has left our facility. A tracking number for your shipment will be emailed to you or if you have an account at PineappleFabrics.com you can find the tracking by going to My Account -> Orders.
